Gerard Iacovano, CPA
Principal

Gerard Iacovano is the managing director of LLI Advisory Group and heads the firm's Healthcare division. Since 1990, Gerard has been specializing in accounting, taxation, estate and financial planning for healthcare practitioners. Serving as Chief Financial Officer of a regional healthcare provider, he was directly responsible for the accounting, tax compliance and operations for multiple healthcare specialties as well as the company's billing and management organization.

Licensed in both New York and New Jersey, Gerard is a member of the American institute of CPAs and the New York State Society of CPAs. He has served on the New York State Society's Personal Financial Planning committee and written articles for the CPA Journal and the New Jersey Dental Association. He has lectured frequently to professional organizations, medical and dental schools on topics such as year end tax planning, buying and selling a healthcare practice, and business start-ups and organizations.

Gerard and his wife, Margaret, have three children and reside in Cranford, New Jersey.

Spiro Leunes, CPA
Principal

Spiro Leunes is the managing director of the Firm's financial services division. Prior to LLI, Spiro was a tax manager with Rothstein Kass, and started his career at "Big 4" Firms Deloitte & Touche and Pricewaterhouse Coopers. Spiro has extensive experience in partnership, corporate and individual income tax.

In order to meet the complex needs of today's clients, Spiro has the necessary education and licenses to assist clients with their insurance and investment advisory needs, and was instrumental in establishing LLI's Professional Alliance program (PAP). Over the last twelve years, Spiro has advised high-net worth clients, wealthy entrepreneurs, closely held businesses, and some of today's most prominent hedge fund managers.

Spiro has assisted health care professionals in the acquisition, start up and planning phases of their businesses, including providing wealth building and tax saving strategies to enhance their business and personal lives. Spiro is a frequent speaker at Columbia University's School of Dentistry and Oral Surgery, New York University's College of Dentistry, the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, and has presented at the Greater New York Dental Meeting in New York City.

Spiro received his B.B.A. in accounting from The Bernard M. Baruch College (CUNY) and his Master of Science Degree in Taxation from Pace University's Lubin School of Business. Spiro is a member of the American institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA), and has served on various committees of the Society. Spiro is a licensed certified public accountant in New York and New Jersey.

Domenick Lobifaro, CPA
Principal

Domenick Lobifaro is the firm's managing tax director. For more than 15 years he has provided tax, accounting and business consulting services to high net worth individuals and closely held businesses with a concentration in healthcare. Formerly a tax manager at Rothstein Kass, he has extensive experience in corporate, partnership and individual taxation.

Domenick heads the firm's Continuing Education Committee and has frequently developed and conducted in-house training courses for senior and staff accountants, as well as outside community groups. He is also responsible for implementing and maintaining the firm's cutting edge computer and communication technology.

Domenick received his BBA in accounting from Baruch College in NYC and his Masters of Science in Taxation from Fairleigh Dickenson University. His professional affiliations include memberships with the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants(AICPA). Domenick is a certified public accountant in New York and New Jersey.
